Assembly:

To assemble the Spreader Bar simply screw the two ends together. Assembly is now complete.

Set Up:

First adjust the Spreader Bar to the approximate width needed for your implements. Now, with the EZ-HITCH already on the lift arm, slide each end of the Spreader Bar to the 7/8” holes in the EZ-HITCH. Secure the Spreader Bar using the cotter pins which are provided. Now make the final adjustment for width and then tighten the two nuts against each other. Failure to tighten the lock nut may allow the Spreader Bar to come apart and result in damage to the implement and/or tractor. After completing the Spreader Bar set up tighten the outside stabilizers which run from the lift arms to the tractors rear axel or frame. This will help keep everything in place.

Inspection:

It is recommended that you check the Spreader Bar before using the tractor. If you are ever unsure if the Spreader Bar is damaged, remove it and don’t use it until it has been repaired.
